Anointing Fire Catholic Ministry D.C. is a Catholic charismatic ministry formed after 5 years of praying together as a small group. We started as Mother Mary Sehion Community in 2012 with blessings from Rev. Fr. Xavier Khan Vattayil, founder and director of Sehion Ministries, and Rev. Fr. Mathew Punchayil, vicar of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Mission of Greater Washington. Every first Saturday of the month, we gathered from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm to praise and worship the Lord and to hear His Word through the Web Live program from Sehion Retreat Center in Attapady, Kerala, India. After a few years, the Holy Spirit inspired us to spread the Word of God to the English-speaking community. In January 2016, we started our first outreach program to the English-speaking community. Since then, we have had healing services with Holy Mass, praise and worship, spiritual talks, and healing adoration. In 2016 we named our community Anointing Fire Catholic Ministry D.C. Our only goal is to share Jesus with others and bring individuals and families closer to Him. We are fully dedicated to serving Jesus through our ministry with the Church and for the Church.
